This camp is designed to showcase the two elements of short gameThose shots played on and around the green, including putting, chipping and pitching, and bunker shots. and long game to the student.

It introduces all the changes to the basics of set up for putting, chipping, and full swings necessary to complete a sound golf shot.

This is a well- rounded introductory course for juniors.

The Golf Camp includes:

• 3 Camp Dates: June 7, 14, 21
• Cost: $150 per student
• Number of Students per Session: 10
• For Ages: 10 to 18 years of age

The program includes:

• A welcome package
• 3 hours of golf instruction
• Lunch

Itinerary

• 8:45 am Registration | Welcome to Junior Camp
• 9:00a m -9:45 am  – Basics of Putting
  • *pre shot set up basics
  • *dynamic shot basics
  • Triangle movement
  • Length + speed = distance
  • Effect of slope & grainThe direction which the blades of grass grow, which is of primary importance on the greens (particularly Bermuda grass greens) as this can affect how much and in which direction a putt breaks. on putt
• 9:45 am-10:00 am – Water breakThe amount a putt will curve to the side because of the slope, grain and wind that affect the movement of the ball.
• 10:00am-10:45am – Basics of Chipping/Pitching

  • Air/ground ratio
  • Club selection & impactThe moment in the swing when the club strikes the ball. on above
  • Length + speed = distance
  • ½ – Full swing for pitch shots
• 10:45 am-11:00 am – Water BreakThe amount a putt will curve to the side because of the slope, grain and wind that affect the movement of the ball.
• 11:00 am – 11:30 am – Basics of Golf Swing
  • *pre shot setupThe process of addressing the ball, so that the club and body are properly aimed and aligned. basics
