What is Needed?
Depending on weather some suggestions are: hat, sweatshirt, rain/wind jacket
Water/some other beverage/snack if needed/medications if needed
Golf clubs. You won’t need a full set depending on your age/ability/etc. A putter, 9 iron or pitching iron, 7 iron, any length of wood (driver, 3 wood, 5 wood, etc). If you don’t have clubs, depending on the age I may have a few I can loan for a lesson but it’s probably better to either borrow another juniors golf clubs or purchase an inexpensive set from Sport Check with just the bare minimum of clubs. For the older students if you need to borrow I may have some to lend for each lesson or if you can use an adult set from a family or friend that would be fine.
You can simply use running shoes for footwear if you don’t have golf shoes. They will work great. You don’t need a golf glove either. If you have them bring them. Also, bring a package of plastic tees (NOT WOODEN)
If you have at least 6 golf balls for chipping and putting bring them. Make sure you mark them with your initials to identify them when we are practicing because there will be a lot of balls on the green.
Just bring the clubs we will be working with for each lesson. You don’t need to drag your full set to the lesson if we are not using the other golf clubs
If you have a friend who may be interested in golf make sure he/she registers and bring him/her. It’s always fun if you have someone you know in the group
